Join us at MLCA for 8 themed weeks of action packed Summer Camps.

Camp time:  9am-4pm.  Extended care available from 7am-9am and 4pm-5:30pm 

Weekly camp fees: $225 for a 5 day week and $180 for the weeks of July 4-7 and August 8-11 as they are both short work weeks.

Extended care fees: $50 per week

A $25 non-refundable fee can hold a space for you and go toward the registration

Ages: Children must be going into grade 1 for September 2024 with the age limit up to children going into Grade 7 for Sept 2024.

Week 1: July 2-July 5

Adventures Unlimited $180

“We’re going on an adventure!” – The Hobbit

This week the campers will have the opportunity to explore the forest behind the community center. We are going to be participating in a team scavenger hunt as well as playing capture the flag! Weather depending, we will be having picnics out in the forest too! Not only are we having outdoor picnics, but we will have a pancake breakfast one morning, so please join us on these incredible adventures!

Week 2: July 8 – July 12

Earth Week $225

“Good morning, starshine the earth says hello” – Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

This week the campers have a whole week to celebrate and appreciate our earth! We will be making handmade bird feeders out of pinecones, seeds and other goodies for the birds. We will also take a walk down to fish creek park to explore all it has to offer, like the water and the fishes as well as the trees and nature surrounding us!

Week 3: July 15 – July 19

Science Week $225

“Science Rules!” – Bill Nye

During science week, our campers will put on their lab coats and goggles and get ready to participate in creating giant bubbles and cloud dough! The campers will also use their creativity and problem-solving skills to create their best marshmallow towers that can withstand a pre-set weight based on the kids! We can’t wait to see how the campers use their big brains!

Week 4: July 22 – July 26

Wet and Wild $225

“Just keep swimming!” – Finding Nemo

Who’s ready to get wet during our wet’ N wild week? Come prepared to be splashed, sprayed and drenched when we participate in a week of water wars and relay races! We also have a Shark themed water slide that will be set up for the campers to bounce around on! We can’t wait to get wet and wild with the campers!

Week 5: July 29 - August 2

MLCA's Carnival $225

“da da da da da da da da circus” – Madagascar 3 

Come one, come all to our carnival week! This week the campers will be participating in many different carnival games like magnet fishing, sack races, and a variety of minute-to-win-it games! What carnival is complete without a show, so prepare to be amazed by a real live magician!

Week 6: August 6 – August 9

Galaxy Quest $180

“To infinity and beyond!” – Toy Story

Let’s jump in our spaceship and blast off as we explore the galaxy above! This week the campers will be able to create their own rocket ships and explore their marshmallow constellations! We will also be learning about the different constellations that we see in the night sky. The campers will also have a chance to make their own toilet paper roll constellations that show in the dark!

Week 7: August 12 – August 16

Animal Planet $225

“Look for the bare necessities!” – The Jungle Book.

This week is dedicated to our shared love of animals! The campers will be amazed by all the different animal origami they will learn to make! We will also be playing games like animal charades and animal bingo! We hope these campers are ready for a party because Reptile Parties are coming to visit our camp! He is bringing a variety of different reptiles that we will learn about and even have the possibility of petting!

Week 8: August 19 – August 23

Creative Kids $225

“Our greatest natural resource is the minds of our children!” – Walt Disney.

Are you a singer, a dancer or artistically creative? Then this week is for you! We want to see all your talents as we wrap up the summer! The kids will participate in karaoke and talent shows! We will also have a variety of different mediums for the campers to get creative with, including sidewalk chalk, water colour paints, cardboard for construction and a whole bunch more!
