McKENZIE LAKE COMMUNITY ASSOCIATION

The McKenzie Lake Community Association (MLCA), established in 1984, is an organization that strives to enhance living and bring together the community through programming and events for residents of all ages.  The MLCA is run by two office staff and ten volunteer board members from the community. We also have representation from The City of Calgary on our board and partner with our local MLA office, City Councillor office, and the Calgary Police Service.

The MLCA is pleased to serve all community members, both residents with and without lake access.

We currently offer before and after school care, preschool,
outdoor soccer, babysitting/home alone/stranger danger courses, yoga, pickleball, 55+ club, and  McKenzie Tots playgroup.  We offer events such as our annual McKenzie Frenzie, Creative Canvas paint nights, dances, and movie nights in the gym. We also have an excellent facility that is rented by many businesses that offer great programs for our residents. The gymnasium is open to rent to the public to use for sports, meetings, and special events.  During the winter months we are excited to allow the Ice Rink to be rented for private events.
